AIGP promotes support services to assist American Indian and Alaska Native students throughout their academic programs at Berkeley. AIGP keeps students up to date on events in the Indian community, and organizes several social events throughout the year. AIGP also provides support for the American Indian graduate student community at Cal.

The American Indian Graduate Student Association (AIGSA) meets every other week in the AIGSA room (597 Barrows Hall). The AIGSA room provides meeting and study space for students and offers use of a computer and printer, refrigerator and microwave, coffee maker, couches and tables, stereo, and a TV, VCR, and DVD player. AIGSA maintains a small library with books and journals.

The Native American Law Students Association (NALSA) is also active on campus.

The AIGSA Co-chairs are Dory Nason and Danika Medak-Saltzman. Contact Dory at DorNason@netscape.net.

The AIGSA meeting schedule will be posted on the Events Calendar.
