Graduate Council Lectures
This lecture series co-hosted by the Graduate Council and the Graduate Division features distinguished scholars and speakers on topics in history, science, public policy, literature, philosophy, and human values. Past lecturers include Stephen Hawking, Claude Levi-Strauss, Edwin Hubble, Noam Chomsky, and Michel Foucault. These lectures are held on the Berkeley campus and are open to the public. Meet Dean Szeri Events
Andrew Szeri was appointed Graduate Dean in July 2007. In a series of alumni events around the country and the world, he will speak about the latest ground-breaking research in engineering and the sciences at Berkeley. Highlights will include research programs in energy and biosciences, environmental monitoring and cleanup, and information technology and sensors.
