NRC Graduate Program Rankings
U.S. News Graduate-School Rankings PDF
With 10,000 graduate students and over 100 advanced degree programs, the University of California, Berkeley has one of the largest graduate schools in the country. At present, Berkeley awards more doctoral degrees than any other U.S. institution. Our graduate alumni go on to successful careers in research, teaching, business, industry, and public service. While many decide to stay in California, Berkeley’s 128,000 graduate alumni live and work in all 50 states and in 133 countries.
Graduate alumni play an essential role in the life of the University. Many have returned to the campus as distinguished faculty. Others have taken on key volunteer positions with the California Alumni Association, the UC Berkeley Foundation Board of Trustees, and numerous other volunteer groups on campus.
The Dean of the Graduate Division is committed to providing new opportunities for graduate alumni to become involved with the University and reconnect with former friends and colleagues. Please watch our website for information about upcoming lectures and events, news stories about graduate alumni, and upcoming issues of The Graduate magazine.
