Hubble is a renowned American astronomer whose contributions in the field of astronomy have helped us gain a better understanding of the universe. He demonstrated that other galaxies exist in addition to those in the Milky Way and that the universe is forever expanding. He created Hubble’s Law which states that the degree of redshift from light coming from a galaxy increases in proportion to the distance of that galaxy from the Milky Way.
