Earl Pomeroy is an American lawyer and politician from the U.S. state of North Dakota. A member of the North Dakota Democratic-NPL Party, he has been the sole member of the United States House of Representatives from North Dakota since 1993. Pomeroy has been an effective leader for the improvement of the federal crop insurance program and for providing a safety net to protect farmers when prices collapse.
