Graduate Services: Appointments Office
The Appointments staff oversees and monitors the
appointments of graduate students to academic titles (Graduate
Student Instructor, Graduate Student Researcher, Reader, Tutor)
and employment in staff titles to ensure compliance with policies
and procedures established by the Office of the President, the
Graduate Council, Academic Personnel, and the Graduate Division.
We also administer fee and tuition remission programs. For questions
on appointments or fee remissions, first contact your academic
or hiring unit. Some general information is listed in What You Need to
